My Tips on Creating The Perfect Smoky Eye! It’s still on trend girls…
The smoky eye makeup has been around for a while now; however it’s been recently that smoky eye makeup has become popular! And us Makeup artists are still transforming the smoky eye in so many ways!
When you apply smoky eye makeup you need to ensure that a proper balance is maintained between the smokey eyes and lips. While traditional smoky eye makeup looks suggests that lips should be toned down if your eyes are bold, As you can see here I have kept the lips glossy and nude.Karla’s Tips:
*Always build up a smoky eye working with the lightest colour*Use a cream base product to keep your eyeshadow in place, this will also make the eyeshadow look more vivid
*To save even more money, find a black eyeshadow that works well wet and use it as your eye liner too, such as Max Factor MAXeye in Precious Metals.
*Don’t be afraid to use colour on your models or yourself , instead of brown or grey for your general eyeshadow. Dark blues and dark greens are always great to use for a smoky eye look, but also gives some fun colour as well.
*To add a little extra fun to the lashes, use a black mascara as a base and then apply a coloured mascara to the tips- I am loving doing this at the moment. Especially a touch of a purple mascara
Have fun with smoky eyes! Add texture and colour! Have fun…
